What is ASBF?

The Asia Small Business Federation (ASBF) is a regional platform dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship and small business development across the Asia-Pacific. Evolving from the Asia Council for Small Business (2016–2023) and later the Asia Committee for Small Business (2023–2024), ASBF was officially launched in 2024 to unite national small business bodies and foster collaboration, research, and innovation.

About ASBF Sri Lanka

ASBF Sri Lanka was launched on the 6th of February 2025 as the national chapter of the Asia Small Business Federation. It serves as a strategic platform to connect Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, SMEs, and policy stakeholders with the broader Asian small business ecosystem. ASBF-SL supports knowledge exchange, research, and practical policy input to strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial landscape and contribute to regional growth.

Entrepreneurship schools under the SLIM Campus of Entrepreneurship and Marketing, enhancing access to professional entrepreneurship education nationwide.

ASBF Council & EXCO 2025/26

The ASBF Sri Lanka Council and Executive Committee for 2025/26 consist of professionals and institutional representatives with a strong track record in SME development, education, and entrepreneurship. The leadership team oversees strategic direction, partnerships, and program implementation in alignment with ASBF’s regional objectives. Members are selected based on expertise, leadership, and alignment with the federation’s vision.
